Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all safety and operating instructions before using this product. Keep these instructions for future reference.

  • Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Setup

1. Power Connection:

  1. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet.

2. Connecting to a TV (Optional):

To view lyrics on a larger screen, connect the unit to your television.

  1. Connect the yellow RCA plug of the Audio/Video cable to the VIDEO OUT jack on the karaoke system and the VIDEO IN jack on your TV.
  2. Connect the white RCA plug to the AUDIO L OUT jack on the karaoke system and the AUDIO L IN jack on your TV.
  3. Connect the red RCA plug to the AUDIO R OUT jack on the karaoke system and the AUDIO R IN jack on your TV.
  4. Select the correct video input channel on your TV (e.g., AV1, Video 1).

3. Microphone Connection:

  1. Plug the microphone into one of the MIC 1 or MIC 2 jacks on the front of the unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off:

  • Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.

2. Playing Discs (CD/CD+G/DVD):

  1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray.
  2. Place a disc (CD, CD+G, or DVD) onto the tray with the label side facing up.
  3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
  4. The unit will automatically begin playing the disc. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and SEARCH buttons on the unit or remote control to manage playback.
  5. For CD+G discs, lyrics will display on the built-in screen or connected TV.

3. USB/SD/MMC Playback:

  1. Insert a USB thumb drive or SD/MMC card into the corresponding slot.
  2. Press the SOURCE button to select USB or CARD mode.
  3. Navigate through your MP3 files using the navigation buttons and press PLAY to start playback.

4. Recording Your Performance:

You can record your singing onto a USB drive or SD/MMC card in MP3 format.

  1. Ensure a USB drive or SD/MMC card is inserted.
  2. Start playing your desired music (CD, CD+G, DVD, or MP3).
  3. Press the RECORD button. The recording indicator will illuminate.
  4. Sing into the microphone.
  5. Press the RECORD button again to stop recording. Your performance will be saved as an MP3 file on the inserted media.

5. Microphone and Vocal Controls:

  • MIC VOLUME: Adjusts the microphone volume.
  • ECHO: Adds an echo effect to your voice.
  • AUTO VOICE CONTROL (AVC): When activated, the lead vocals on a multiplex CD+G track will be muted when you sing into the microphone and resume when you stop.
  • DIGITAL KEY CONTROL: Adjusts the musical key of the song to better suit your vocal range without changing the tempo.

6. Equalizer:

  • Use the BASS, MEDIUM, and TREBLE controls to fine-tune the audio output to your preference.

7. Remote Control:

The included remote control provides full functionality for playback, menu navigation, and volume adjustments from a distance.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit:

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the disc tray clean and free of dust.

Disc Care:

  • Handle discs by their edges to avoid fingerprints.
  • Store discs in their cases when not in use.
  • Clean discs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
