4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the vaporizer and VapoPads from the packaging.
2. Open Lid: Gently lift the top cover of the vaporizer to reveal the VapoPad slot.
3. Insert VapoPad: Open one Vicks VapoPad packet and slide the pad into the designated slot. Ensure it sits flat.
4. Close Lid: Close the top cover securely.
5. Position: Place the vaporizer on a flat, stable surface, such as a bedside table, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
6. Plug In: Insert the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The green indicator light will illuminate, signifying the device is powered on and beginning to heat the VapoPad.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: The vaporizer does not have a dedicated on/off switch. To turn it on, plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. To turn it off, unplug the device from the outlet.
2. Adjust Vapor Strength: The vaporizer features a slider switch on the side with three settings (I, II, III) to adjust the menthol vapor intensity. Slide the switch to your desired level of vapor release.
3. Nightlight Function: The green indicator light serves as a soothing nightlight when the device is powered on.
4. Vapor Release: Once powered on, the device will begin to heat the VapoPad, releasing soothing menthol vapors into the air.

2. Cleaning: To clean the exterior of the vaporizer, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.

7. Safety Information

• CAUTION: Hot Surface. The heating element inside the vaporizer can become hot during operation. Avoid touching the internal components when the device is plugged in or recently unplugged.
• DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER. This device is waterless and should never be submerged in water or any other liquid.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Use only Vicks VapoPads with this device.
• Do not block the vapor outlet.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Vapor/Weak Scent:
  • Ensure the device is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet and the green light is on.
  • Check if the VapoPad is correctly inserted.
  • Replace the VapoPad if it has been used for more than 8 hours or if the scent has diminished.
  • Adjust the vapor strength setting to a higher level (II or III).
• Nightlight is Too Bright:
  • The nightlight intensity is not adjustable. Consider repositioning the vaporizer if the light is disruptive.
• Device Not Turning On:
  • Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into both the device and the electrical outlet.
  • Test the outlet with another appliance to ensure it is functional.
