If using batteries, replace them when the low battery indicator appears or when audio quality diminishes. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the unit, remove old batteries, and insert new AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
Troubleshooting
- No Power:
Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to both the speaker dock and a working power outlet. If using batteries, check that they are correctly inserted and not depleted. - No Sound:
Verify that your iPod/iPhone is properly docked or the auxiliary device is connected and playing. Check the volume level on both the speaker dock and your connected device. Ensure the speaker dock is not muted. - Device Not Charging:
Confirm the speaker dock is connected to AC power. Ensure your iPod/iPhone is correctly seated in the dock connector. - Remote Control Not Working:
Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the speaker dock's infrared receiver. - Distorted Sound:
Reduce the volume on both the speaker dock and your connected device. Ensure the audio cable for auxiliary input is fully inserted and not damaged.
