Setup

Unpacking:

Carefully remove the Hilti TE 905-AVR and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact Hilti customer service immediately.

Attaching the Auxiliary Handle:

1. Loosen the auxiliary handle clamp by rotating it counter-clockwise.
2. Slide the auxiliary handle onto the tool's barrel until it is in a comfortable and secure position.
3. Tighten the auxiliary handle clamp by rotating it clockwise until it is firmly secured. Ensure the handle does not rotate freely.

Inserting Chiseling Bits:

1. Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.
2. Clean the shank of the chiseling bit.
3. Insert the bit into the chuck (refer to Figure 6) until it clicks into place. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked.
4. To remove, pull back the locking sleeve on the chuck and pull out the bit.

Operating Instructions

Connect the power cord to a suitable 115V AC power outlet. Ensure the outlet is grounded and capable of supplying the required power (1600W).
