Setup

  1. Secure the Base: Place the peeler on a clean, smooth, nonporous surface. Press down on the suction lever located at the base to firmly attach the unit to the countertop.
  2. Prepare the Drive Shaft: Pull back the drive shaft using the quick-release lever to create space for mounting the apple.
  3. Adjust Blades (if necessary):
    • Peeling Blade: The adjustable stainless steel peeling blade can be moved to remove a thicker or thinner peel.
    • Coring/Slicing Blade: This blade can be removed if only peeling is desired. To remove, loosen the wing nut and slide the blade off.

Operating Instructions

Peeling, Coring, and Slicing Apples

  1. Ensure the peeling blade and coring/slicing blade are in place and properly adjusted.
  2. Center an apple onto the three prongs of the drive shaft.
  3. Turn the crank handle clockwise. The apple will rotate, moving towards the blades. The peeling blade will remove the skin, and the coring/slicing blade will simultaneously core and slice the apple into a continuous spiral.
  4. Once the apple is fully processed, pull the drive shaft back using the quick-release lever to remove the peeled, cored, and sliced apple.

Peeling Only (without Coring/Slicing)

  1. Before starting, remove the coring/slicing blade by loosening its wing nut and sliding it off.
  2. Mount the apple onto the drive shaft prongs.
  3. Turn the crank handle. The peeling blade will remove the skin, leaving the apple whole and cored.

Peeling Potatoes

  1. For potatoes, it is recommended to remove the coring/slicing blade.
  2. Mount the potato onto the drive shaft prongs.
  3. Turn the crank handle. The peeling blade will remove the potato skin.

Maintenance and Cleaning
