3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Connect the IR Receiver

3.2 Connect the IR Emitters
The kit includes two dual IR emitters, providing four emitter heads. Connect these emitters to the "EMITTERS" ports (1-6) on the IR Distribution Block. 3.3 Power Connection
Connect the included AC/DC Power Adapter to the "12VDC" power input on the IR Distribution Block, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

3.4 Mounting the IR Distribution Block
The IR Distribution Block is designed for shelf or wall mounting. Secure it in a convenient location near your hidden components, ensuring cables can reach all necessary connections.

4. Operation
Once all connections are made and the unit is powered on, the system is ready for use. Point your standard remote control at the Mini IR Receiver. The IR Receiver and the IR Distribution Block feature blinking blue LEDs to confirm that an IR signal has been received and is being repeated to your components. You can now control your hidden audio/video devices as if they were in direct line of sight.
5. Troubleshooting
- No Response from Components:
- Ensure the AC/DC adapter is properly connected and powered.
- Verify that the Mini IR Receiver's blue LED blinks when you press buttons on your remote.
- Check that the emitter heads are directly and securely placed over the IR sensors of your components.
- Confirm all cables are firmly connected to the IR Distribution Block.
- Interference with Plasma Displays:
- Plasma displays emit IR frequencies that can interfere with the IR receiver. If you experience issues, reposition the Mini IR Receiver away from the plasma display or shield it to minimize interference.
- Limited Control Range:
- Ensure the Mini IR Receiver is not obstructed and has a clear line of sight to your remote control.
- Check for any strong light sources (e.g., direct sunlight, bright halogen lights) that might be interfering with the IR signal.
