5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 4.2).
  2. Slide or gently pry open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one AA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are aligned correctly according to the diagram inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Initial Time Setting

  1. Locate the Time Setting Knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 4.2).
  2. Rotate the Time Setting Knob in either direction until the hour and minute hands display the current time.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Setting the Alarm

  1. Locate the Alarm Setting Knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 4.2).
  2. Rotate the Alarm Setting Knob until the alarm hand points to your desired alarm time.
  3. To activate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF Switch to the "ON" position.
  4. To deactivate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF Switch to the "OFF" position.

6.2. Using the Alarm

When the alarm is set to "ON" and the current time reaches the set alarm time, the clock will emit an electronic alarm sound. To stop the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF Switch to the "OFF" position.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish.

7.2. Battery Replacement

When the clock's movement becomes erratic or stops, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the steps in Section 5.1 for battery installation. Always use a fresh AA battery.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Clock not working: Ensure the AA battery is correctly installed and is not depleted. Replace the battery if necessary.
  • Alarm not sounding: Verify that the Alarm ON/OFF Switch is in the "ON" position. Check that the alarm time is correctly set. Ensure the battery has sufficient power.
  • Inaccurate timekeeping: Replace the battery with a fresh one. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
