Selecting Effects

The ModFactor offers 10 core modulation effects, each with multiple variations. Use the 'Type' knob to cycle through the available effects. The display will show the currently selected effect.

Adjusting Parameters

Once an effect is selected, use the various parameter knobs (Intensity, Depth, Speed, etc.) to fine-tune the sound. The display provides visual feedback on parameter values.

Saving Presets

To save your customized settings as a preset, press and hold the 'Save' button (often combined with another knob, indicated on the pedal). Follow the on-screen prompts to select a preset location and confirm saving. It is recommended to regularly save your preferred settings to avoid loss.

MIDI Control

The ModFactor supports MIDI for external control of parameters, program changes, and tempo synchronization. Connect a MIDI cable to the MIDI In port on the rear panel. Refer to the advanced user manual for detailed MIDI implementation charts.

Expression Pedal and Auxiliary Switch

An external expression pedal can be connected to the 'Expression Pedal' input for continuous control over assignable parameters. An auxiliary switch can be connected to the 'Aux Switch' input for additional footswitch functionality, such as tap tempo or preset scrolling.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the ModFactor, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
