2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking

4.2 Filling the Mill
- Hold the mill firmly and twist the top cap counter-clockwise to remove it.
- Carefully pour your desired whole spices, peppercorns, or coarse salt into the transparent body. Do not overfill.
- Replace the top cap by aligning it and twisting clockwise until secure.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting Grinding Fineness
The WMF Mini Mill features an adjustable ceramic grinding mechanism, allowing you to select your preferred fineness from coarse to fine.
- Locate the adjustment knob, typically found at the top or bottom of the grinding mechanism.
- Turn the knob clockwise for a finer grind and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. Test the grind on a surface to achieve your desired consistency.

5.2 Grinding Spices
Once filled and adjusted, the mill is ready for use.
- Hold the mill over your food or dish.
- Twist the top cap clockwise to activate the grinding mechanism. The freshly ground spices will dispense from the bottom.
- Continue twisting until the desired amount of spice is dispensed.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene for your WMF Mini Mill.
6.1 General Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the mill with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel or acrylic surfaces.
6.2 Cleaning the Grinding Mechanism
- Empty any remaining spices from the mill.
- Disassemble the mill by twisting off the top cap.
- Use a small brush (e.g., a clean toothbrush or pastry brush) to gently remove any spice residue from the ceramic grinding mechanism.
- The ceramic grinder is harder than steel and resistant to corrosion, but it should be cleaned dry. Avoid washing the ceramic mechanism with water, as moisture can cause spices to clump and affect performance.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
