Important Safety Instructions

Setup and Assembly
The Lasko 2521 fan features an easy, no-tools assembly process.
- Attach Base: Place the round base on a flat surface. Insert the lower pole into the opening in the center of the base. Secure it by tightening the screws from the underside of the base.
- Connect Poles: Insert the upper pole into the lower pole. Ensure it clicks into place or is securely fastened by a locking mechanism.
- Mount Fan Head: Carefully place the fan head assembly onto the top of the upper pole. Align the mounting hole on the fan head with the pole and secure it with the provided screw or locking knob.
- Adjust Height (Initial): Loosen the height adjustment collar on the pole, extend the fan to your desired height, and then securely tighten the collar.

Operating Instructions
Your Lasko 2521 fan offers multiple settings for personalized comfort.
Power and Speed Control
The fan features an easy-grip rotary control located on the back of the fan head. Turn the knob to select your desired speed:
- 0: Off
- 1: Low Speed
- 2: Medium Speed
- 3: High Speed

Oscillation Function
To activate the wide-area oscillation, push down the oscillation knob located on top of the fan motor housing. To stop oscillation, pull the knob up.
Height Adjustment
The fan's height can be adjusted up to 47 inches. To adjust, loosen the height adjustment collar on the pole, slide the upper pole to the desired height, and then firmly tighten the collar to secure it.

Tilt Adjustment
The fan head can be tilted to direct airflow. Gently push the fan head up or down to achieve the desired angle. The fan head will hold its position once set.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning helps maintain the fan's performance and extends its lifespan.
- Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
- Use a soft cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the fan.
- To clean the fan blades, you may need to remove the front grille. Refer to the assembly instructions in reverse for grille removal. Ensure the grille is securely reattached before operating the fan.
- Do not use water, alcohol, gasoline, polishes, or other harsh chemicals to clean the fan.
- Store the fan in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
If your fan is not operating as expected, consult the following common issues and solutions:
