Operating Instructions

The CucinaPro Electric Skillet offers precise temperature control for various cooking needs.

  1. Preheating: Turn the temperature control dial to your desired setting. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the skillet is heating. Allow the skillet to preheat for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the indicator light turns off, indicating the set temperature has been reached.
  2. Cooking: Add food to the preheated skillet. The large 16-inch cooking surface ensures ample space for family-sized meals. The tempered glass lid can be used to lock in heat and moisture, and to monitor cooking without lifting the lid.
  3. Temperature Adjustment: Adjust the temperature dial as needed during cooking. The indicator light will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
  4. Keep Warm Function: For keeping food warm after cooking, turn the dial to the "KEEP WARM" setting.
  5. Finishing: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature dial to the "OFF" position and unplug the skillet from the electrical outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care will extend the life of your electric skillet.

  1. Cool Down: Always allow the skillet to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove Probe: Detach the temperature control probe from the skillet base. The probe should never be immersed in water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
  3. Skillet Base: The stainless steel skillet base can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residue, allow the skillet to soak for a short period. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads that could scratch the surface. A damp paper towel can also be used for light cleaning.
  4. Lid: The tempered glass lid can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in a dishwasher.
  5. Drying and Storage: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling or storing. Store the skillet and probe in a dry place.

Caution: Do not immerse the skillet base in standing water if there are vents on the underside, as this could damage electrical components. Use a sprayer to rinse carefully.
