  • The control unit immediately activates the motorized ball valve(s) to close, stopping the water flow to the protected appliance.
  • Visual (LED indicators) and audible alarms will activate to alert you of the leak.

Manual Operation:

  • The control unit features "OPEN," "CLOSE," and "MUTE" buttons.
  • Press the "CLOSE" button to manually shut off the water supply. This is useful for extended absences (e.g., vacation) or during maintenance.
  • Press the "OPEN" button to restore water flow.
  • The "MUTE" button silences the audible alarm after a leak detection.

Maintenance

Regular checks ensure optimal performance of your FloodStop system.

  • Periodically inspect the water sensor for any debris or damage. Keep the sensor clean and dry in normal operation.
  • Test the system regularly by placing a small amount of water on the sensor to ensure the valve closes and alarms activate. Dry the sensor thoroughly after testing.
  • If using the optional battery backup, check and replace batteries as needed to ensure continuous operation during power outages. The control unit is primarily powered by the included power adapter.

Troubleshooting
