2. Safety Information

5. Device Layout and Controls

- Display: Shows current temperature, MAX/MIN values, and alarm indicators.
- Ⓞ (Power) Button: Turns the device ON/OFF.

6. Setup
6.1 Battery Installation
The device uses one CR2032 button cell battery. If the display is blank or dim, replace the battery.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
- Open the compartment cover (you may need a small screwdriver or coin).
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
6.2 Initial Placement and Sensor Connection
Connect the cable sensor to the main unit if it is not already connected. The sensor plug is designed for a secure fit.

Position the main unit using the integrated stand for desktop use or attach it to metallic surfaces using the magnet on the back. Place the waterproof cable sensor in the area where temperature measurement is required (e.g., inside a refrigerator, freezer, or submerged in liquid).
7. Operation
7.1 Power ON/OFF
- Press the Ⓞ (Power) button once to turn the thermometer ON.
- Press and hold the Ⓞ (Power) button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the thermometer OFF.
7.2 Current Temperature Display
Upon powering on, the device will immediately display the current temperature measured by the cable sensor.
7.3 MAX/MIN Temperature Function
The thermometer records the highest (MAX) and lowest (MIN) temperatures measured since the last reset.
- Press the MAX/MIN button once to display the maximum temperature recorded.
- Press the MAX/MIN button again to display the minimum temperature recorded.
- Press the MAX/MIN button a third time to return to the current temperature display.
- To reset the MAX/MIN values, press and hold the MAX/MIN button for approximately 3 seconds while viewing either MAX or MIN temperature. The display will briefly show "---" indicating reset.
7.4 HOLD Function
The HOLD function allows you to freeze the current temperature reading on the display.
- While displaying the current temperature, press the +1 button once to activate the HOLD function. The display will show "HOLD".
- Press the +1 button again to deactivate HOLD and return to live temperature readings.
8. Alarm Settings
The LT-102 features adjustable high (HI) and low (LO) temperature alarms. An optical and acoustic alarm will activate if the temperature exceeds the HI limit or falls below the LO limit.
- Press the AL SET button once. The "HI" icon will flash, and the current high alarm limit will be displayed.
- Use the +1 button to adjust the HI alarm limit. Each press increases the value. Press and hold for faster adjustment.
- Press the AL SET button again. The "LO" icon will flash, and the current low alarm limit will be displayed.
- Use the +1 button to adjust the LO alarm limit.
- Press the AL SET button a third time to confirm the settings and exit alarm setting mode. The alarm icons will appear on the display, indicating that alarms are active.
- To deactivate alarms, press and hold the AL SET button for approximately 3 seconds. The alarm icons will disappear. Repeat the process to reactivate.
9. Maintenance and Cleaning
The LT-102 thermometer is designed for durability and easy maintenance.
- Cleaning: The main unit is jet-protected (IP65) and the cable sensor is waterproof (IP65). Both can be cleaned under running water or wiped with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed before cleaning the main unit with water.
- Storage: Store the device in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, when not in use.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2032 battery when the display becomes dim or unresponsive.
10. Troubleshooting
