The 39x29 cm cooking surface offers ample space to cook simultaneously for the whole family or for dinners with friends.

Setup and First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the plancha and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
2. Clean: Before first use, wipe the cooking plate with a damp cloth. Ensure the grease drip tray is clean. Dry all parts thoroughly.
3. Assemble: Place the plancha on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Ensure the integrated grease drip tray is correctly positioned underneath the cooking plate.
4. Connect Thermostat: Insert the removable thermostat into the connection port on the side of the plancha. Ensure it is firmly seated.
5. Initial Heating: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. Set the thermostat to a medium setting (e.g., 3). Allow the plancha to heat for approximately 5-10 minutes without food. A slight odor or smoke may occur during initial heating; this is normal.
6. Prepare for Cooking: After initial heating, unplug the appliance and let it cool. Wipe the cooking surface again with a damp cloth. Your plancha is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Cooking with the Plancha

1. Preheat: Ensure the thermostat is correctly inserted. Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. Turn the thermostat knob to your desired temperature setting. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the plancha is heating. Allow 5-10 minutes for the plancha to reach the set temperature. The indicator light may cycle on and off during cooking to maintain temperature.
2. Add Food: Once preheated, place your food directly onto the non-stick cooking surface. The non-stick coating allows cooking without additional oil or fat, though a small amount can be used if desired.
3. Adjust Temperature: The removable thermostat allows you to adjust the temperature as needed during cooking. The plate's inclination is adjustable to 5 positions, which allows for easy drainage of cooking juices and excess fats into the drip tray.
4. Monitor Cooking: Cook food until desired doneness. Turn food as necessary.
5. Finish Cooking: Once cooking is complete, turn the thermostat knob to the "OFF" position and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your plancha.

1. Cool Down: Always allow the plancha to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove Thermostat: Disconnect the removable thermostat from the appliance. The thermostat and power cord should never be immersed in water. Wipe with a damp cloth if necessary.
