Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Timex Expedition watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for scuba diving. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged, as this can compromise the water resistance seal.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.
Cleaning
Clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the watch case or strap.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is dim or blank. | Low battery. | Replace battery. |
