Operating Instructions
1. Loading Food
The F14 feeder features a rotating carousel with 14 individual compartments. Lift the clear lid to access the compartments. Fill each compartment with the desired amount of fish food (flakes, pellets, or sticks). Ensure not to overfill, as this may impede the rotation mechanism.

2. Setting Feeding Times
The central dial controls the feeding schedule. It features a 24-hour clock. To set a feeding time, insert the red pegs into the corresponding hour slots on the dial. Each peg represents one meal. You can set up to 4 meals per day. The feeder will rotate and dispense food from one compartment each time a peg aligns with the dispensing opening.
- Rotate the central dial to align the current time with the "SET TIME" arrow.
- Insert red pegs into the hour slots (e.g., 9, 12, 15, 18) where you want meals to be dispensed.
- The number of pegs inserted determines the number of meals per day. For example, 1 peg for one meal per day, 2 pegs for two meals, and so on.
- The feeder can store up to 14 meals, allowing for up to 14 days of feeding if set to one meal per day.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the feeder is essential to prevent food buildup and ensure proper operation. The food tray is easy to remove for cleaning.
- Carefully lift the food tray out of the feeder unit.
- Wipe down the tray and the dispensing area with a damp cloth to remove any food residue.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the feeder and adding new food.
- In humid conditions, consider connecting an air pump to the feeder (if available) to help keep food dry and prevent clogging.
2. Battery Replacement
The feeder features a battery condition indicator. Replace the AA battery when the indicator shows low power to ensure continuous operation. The battery typically lasts over a year.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Food not dispensing or dispensing irregularly. | Food clogging due to moisture or large pieces; incorrect peg placement; low battery. | Ensure food is dry and suitable for the feeder. Break larger flakes into smaller pieces. Verify pegs are securely placed in the dial. Replace battery if indicator is low. Clean the feeder regularly to prevent residue buildup. |
| Feeder not turning. | Dead battery; mechanism jammed. | Replace the AA battery. Check for any obstructions in the rotating mechanism and clear them. |
| Food getting stuck under the wheel. | Excess moisture; food type. | Ensure the feeder is positioned to minimize moisture exposure. Consider using an air pump if humidity is high. Use appropriate food types (pellets, sticks) that are less prone to sticking than fine flakes. |
