Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and - markings).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Power Adapter Connection
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input jack on the alarm clock.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The device will power on.

3. Initial Radio-Controlled Time Synchronization
Upon initial power-up, the clock will automatically attempt to synchronize with the DCF radio signal. This process may take several minutes. During synchronization, a radio signal icon will typically flash on the display. Once synchronized, the icon will become solid, and the time will be set automatically.
- Place the clock near a window for better signal reception.
- Avoid placing it near electronic devices that may cause interference.
Operating Instructions
Setting Time and Date (Manual)
If the radio signal is weak or unavailable, you can manually set the time and date:
- Press and hold the MODE/MIN button for a few seconds until the time display flashes.
- Use the AL/HR button to adjust the hours and the MODE/MIN button to adjust the minutes.
- Press MODE/MIN again to cycle through setting the year, month, and day, adjusting each with the AL/HR button.
- Press MODE/MIN one last time to confirm and exit manual setting mode.
Setting the Alarm
- Press the AL/HR button once to display the current alarm time.
- Press and hold the AL/HR button until the alarm time flashes.
- Use the AL/HR button to adjust the alarm hours and the MODE/MIN button to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press AL/HR again to confirm the alarm time.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the AL/HR button briefly when the alarm time is displayed. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the screen.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5-10 minutes (duration may vary by model). To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.
Projection Feature
The alarm clock can project the time onto a wall or ceiling.
- Activating Projection: Press the dedicated PROJECTION button (or a light icon button) to turn the projection on/off.
- Adjusting Focus: Rotate the focus wheel on the projection lens to achieve a clear image.
- Adjusting Orientation: The projection arm can often be rotated to direct the image where desired.
Backlight
Press the LIGHT button (often combined with projection controls) to activate the display backlight for better visibility in low light conditions. The backlight may be temporary or have adjustable brightness levels depending on the model.
Temperature Display
The clock continuously displays the indoor temperature. No specific action is usually required to view this information.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the device malfunctions. Ensure correct polarity.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
