It allows for simultaneous playback of 8 audio tracks plus dedicated drum and bass tracks. A Sequence Play function enables continuous playback of multiple songs. A dedicated Master Track is integrated for mix-down, eliminating the need for an external master recorder.

SD Card Installation

The MRS8 records to SD media cards. Ensure a compatible SD card (1 GB or more recommended) is inserted into the SD card slot before operation. The unit requires an SD card to function correctly for recording and playback.

Operating Instructions

Basic Recording

  1. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the MRS8.
  2. Insert SD Card: Ensure an SD card is properly inserted.
  3. Select Project: Use the navigation controls to select an existing project or create a new one.
  4. Connect Instrument/Mic: Plug your instrument into the Hi-Z input or a microphone into the XLR combo jack.
  5. Adjust Input Level: Use the input level knobs to set appropriate recording levels, ensuring the PEAK indicator does not light up consistently.
  6. Arm Track: Select the desired track(s) for recording and press the REC button to arm them.
  7. Start Recording: Press the PLAY button to start playback and then the REC button again to begin recording.
  8. Stop Recording: Press the STOP button to end recording.

Using Drum and Bass Tracks

The MRS8 includes high-quality PCM Drum/Bass sounds with over 500 pre-programmed rhythm patterns. Utilize the dedicated drum and bass tracks to build your rhythm section.

Effects and Mastering

The unit features built-in multi-effects for instruments, vocals, and mastering. Apply effects to individual tracks or during the mix-down process.

Editing and Mixing

The MRS8 provides extensive digital editing capabilities. You can cut, copy, paste, and move audio sections. Use the faders to adjust track volumes during mixing.
