Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one AAA battery (not included), ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Power On
The timer should automatically power on once the battery is correctly installed. The display will show '00:00'.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Timer (Countdown)
- Press the HOUR button to set the desired hours. Each press increases the hour by one. Hold to rapidly advance.
- Press the MIN button to set the desired minutes. Each press increases the minute by one. Hold to rapidly advance.
- To clear the set time, press the RESET button.
2. Starting and Stopping the Timer
- After setting the desired time, press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown.
- To pause the countdown, press the START/STOP button again. The display will flash.
- To resume, press START/STOP once more.
- When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound. Press any button to silence the alarm.
3. Count-Up Function (Stopwatch)
- Ensure the timer display is at '00:00' (press RESET if necessary).
- Press the START/STOP button. The timer will begin counting up from '00:00'.
- To pause the count-up, press START/STOP.
- To reset the count-up timer to '00:00', press RESET while paused.
4. Alarm and Silence Switch
The Winco Digital Timer features an audible alarm. Some models may include a silence switch, typically located on the side or back, to disable the alarm sound. Refer to your specific unit for this feature.
5. Additional Functions (Refer to Video)

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the timer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
2. Battery Replacement
When the display dims or the timer functions erratically, replace the AAA battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
Troubleshooting
- Timer not turning on: Ensure the battery is correctly installed with proper polarity and is not depleted. Replace the battery if necessary.
- Display is dim or blank: Replace the battery.
- Alarm not sounding: Check if your model has a silence switch and ensure it is in the 'on' or 'audible' position. Ensure the volume is not set to minimum if adjustable.
- Buttons unresponsive: Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a soft reset. If the issue persists, the unit may require service.
