1. Setup
This section guides you through the initial setup of your Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd camera, ensuring it is ready for use.
1.1 Unpacking the Camera

1.2 Battery Installation
The FinePix S8000fd operates on four AA batteries. For optimal performance, use alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

1.3 Memory Card Insertion

2.1 Powering On and Off
