Operating Instructions
Indiglo Night-Light
To activate the Indiglo night-light, press and hold the crown. The entire watch dial will illuminate for easy reading in the dark. Release the crown to turn off the light.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet). This rating means the watch is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming. It is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Avoid operating the crown while the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water ingress.
Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
Regularly wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. For the nylon strap, it can be hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried. Ensure the watch case is not exposed to excessive moisture during strap cleaning.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). When the watch stops running or the Indiglo light dims significantly, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in (position 1). If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Indiglo Not Working: This typically indicates a low battery. Replace the battery.
- Date Not Changing Correctly: Ensure the time is set to the correct AM/PM. If the date changes at noon, adjust the time by 12 hours.
- Water Inside Watch: If moisture appears inside the watch, immediately take it to a qualified service center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself.
