Setup

Setting the Time

  1. Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) out to the furthest position. You may feel a slight click.
  2. Adjust the Time: Rotate the crown in either direction until the hour and minute hands display the correct time.
  3. Push the Crown In: Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position against the watch case. This will start the watch movement.

Operating Instructions

Indiglo Night-Light Feature

Your Timex Easy Reader watch is equipped with the Indiglo night-light. To activate it, simply press and hold the crown. The entire dial will illuminate for easy reading in low-light conditions. Release the crown to turn off the light.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (99 feet). This means it is suitable for splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

Battery Replacement

The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). When the watch stops or the Indiglo light dims significantly, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
