3. Operating Instructions

In case of eye exposure to hazardous materials, immediately proceed to the eyewash unit.

  1. Activate the Unit: Firmly grasp the pull handle located at the front of the unit and pull it down. This action will initiate the flow of water from the nozzles into the eyewash basin.
  2. Flush Eyes: Position your face over the basin and hold your eyelids open with your fingers. Allow the water to continuously flush both eyes for a minimum of 15 minutes. Rotate your eyeballs to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly rinsed.
  3. Seek Medical Attention: After flushing, seek immediate medical attention, even if symptoms appear to subside. Bring the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of the chemical involved, if available.
  4. Stop Flow: To stop the water flow, push the handle back up to its original position.
