3. Setup and Assembly
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
- Caster Check: The casters are pre-assembled. Ensure they are securely attached and can rotate freely for easy movement.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, curtains, and other combustible materials. Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
- Power Connection: Ensure the heater is unplugged. Unwind the power cord completely. Plug the heater directly into a suitable 230V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Power Settings: Locate the power switches on the control panel. Select the desired heat output (e.g., MIN, MED, MAX) by pressing the appropriate switches.
- Thermostat Adjustment: Turn the thermostat dial clockwise to the maximum setting. Once the room reaches the desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat dial counter-clockwise until the heater turns off. The heater will now maintain this temperature by cycling on and off automatically.
- Turning Off: To turn off the heater, set the power switches to the 'OFF' position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Always unplug the heater from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool down completely before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
