Front Display:

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
- The device will power on automatically and begin displaying current temperature and humidity.
2. Placement
Place the thermo-hygrometer on a flat surface using its detachable stand. For accurate readings, choose a location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, air conditioning vents, and areas with high airflow. Avoid placing it near windows or doors where external conditions might influence readings.
Operating Instructions
Viewing Minimum and Maximum Values
- Press the MIN/MAX button once to display the maximum recorded temperature, humidity, and dew point since the last reset.
- Press the MIN/MAX button again to display the minimum recorded values.
- Press the MIN/MAX button a third time to return to current readings.
- To reset the MIN/MAX values, press and hold the MIN/MAX button for approximately 3 seconds while viewing either MIN or MAX values. The display will flash, indicating the values have been reset.
Changing Temperature Unit (°C/°F)
Press the °C/°F button located on the back or side of the device to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
Setting Mold Alarm Thresholds and Audio Alarm
The device features a visual and optional audio alarm to indicate high humidity levels that could lead to mold growth. The threshold can typically be set to 55%, 60%, or 65% relative humidity.
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode.
- The current humidity threshold will flash. Use the MIN/MAX button to cycle through available thresholds (e.g., 55%, 60%, 65%).
- Press SET again to confirm the humidity threshold and move to the audio alarm setting.
- Use the MIN/MAX button to toggle the audio alarm ON or OFF.
- Press SET one more time to save your settings and exit the alarm setting mode.
When the humidity exceeds the set threshold, the red mold risk indicator light will flash. If the audio alarm is enabled, it will also sound.
Maintenance

Battery Replacement
