1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

1. Mounting the TLU-01 Unit: Select a suitable, secure location within your RC vehicle's chassis. Use the provided double-sided tape to firmly attach the TLU-01 unit. Ensure the location allows for easy access to wiring ports and does not interfere with moving parts.
2. Connecting Power: Connect the Tamiya male-to-female adapter to your Electronic Speed Control (ESC) or receiver's power source. This adapter allows the TLU-01 to draw power independently, ensuring stable operation without impacting the performance of other electronic components.
3. Connecting LEDs:
   • Connect the two white LEDs to the designated headlight ports on the TLU-01 unit.
   • Connect the two red LEDs to the designated taillight ports on the TLU-01 unit.
   • Important: Observe correct polarity for all LED connections. LEDs will not illuminate if connected with reverse polarity.
4. Wire Management: Route all LED wires neatly and securely using the provided metal clips. This prevents wires from becoming entangled in moving parts, reduces wear, and maintains a clean appearance.
5. Adding Additional LEDs (Optional): The TLU-01 unit supports up to 6 additional sets of LEDs. Connect these to the available auxiliary ports, ensuring that the total current draw does not exceed the unit's specified limits. Refer to the specifications section for details.
