General Trimming Tips
- Use the "O" side of the Hair Trimmer to edge sideburns and the nape of the neck for clean lines.
- For a blunt (one length) look, trim hair ends with a pair of haircutting shears after using the trimmer.
- After trimming, shampoo hair to remove any loose hairs and style as usual.
Medium Cut - Step by Step
- Comb hair in the direction of the desired style.
- Subdivide the hair into two layers. The parting should be just below the round of the head.
- Pull the top layer up and secure with a clip.
- Using the "M" or "L" side of the CONAIR Hair Trimmer, begin cutting approximately halfway down the hair strand.
- Cut the underneath section first.
- Comb the top layer down and proceed as you did with the under layer. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 until the desired length is achieved.
Long Cut - Step by Step
Proceed as you would for a Medium Cut, but make more subsections to provide better control.
Reminder: Start with soft pressure and a low cutting angle, gradually increasing them as you glide down the hair strands. Continue combing the Hair Trimmer over and down the hair until the desired length and weight have been achieved.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: The trimmer is designed to be easy to clean. After each use, unplug the trimmer and gently brush away any loose hairs from the blades.
- Blade Care: The blades are sharp and require careful handling. The blade is not replaceable, so proper care is essential for longevity.
- Storage: Store the trimmer in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
If the trimmer does not operate:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Check for any visible damage to the cord or plug. If damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Ensure there is no hair or debris obstructing the blades. Clean the blades as described in the Maintenance section.
