Descaling

Mineral deposits from water can affect the performance and lifespan of your machine. Descale regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-3 months).

  1. Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for coffee machines, following the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Alternatively, a solution of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio) can be used.
  3. Run the descaling solution through both the drip coffee and espresso circuits.
  4. After descaling, run several cycles of fresh water through the machine to rinse thoroughly and remove any residual descaling solution.
