4.4 Dry Ironing

For dry ironing, ensure the steam control knob is set to the 'no steam' position. Select the appropriate temperature for your fabric and wait for the iron to heat up.

4.5 Important Usage Tips

  • To prevent water leakage, keep the iron horizontal when not in use.
  • Do not fill the water tank completely; leave some space.
  • Always wait for the iron to heat up sufficiently before using the steam function.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Soleplate

After each use, allow the iron to cool completely. Wipe the soleplate with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive liquid cleaner specifically designed for iron soleplates. Never use abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals.

5.2 Calc Clean Function

The iron features a Calc Clean function to remove scale build-up and maintain optimal steam performance. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full product manual for the specific procedure. Regular descaling is recommended, especially in areas with hard water.

5.3 Emptying the Water Tank

After each ironing session, or before storing the iron, empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent scale build-up and leakage. Unplug the iron, allow it to cool, open the water filling inlet, and invert the iron over a sink to drain the water.

5.4 Storage

Once the iron has cooled down and the water tank is empty, store it in an upright position on its heel rest to prevent damage to the soleplate. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and secured.
