Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash all drying trays, fruit roll sheets, and the lid (excluding the motor housing) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The motor housing should be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble: Place the desired number of drying trays onto the base. Ensure they are stacked securely. Place the motor housing/lid on top of the uppermost tray.
  4. Placement: Position the dehydrator on a clean, dry, and level surface, away from walls or other obstructions to allow for proper airflow.

Operating Instructions

The NESCO FD-61 utilizes a unique Converga-Flow drying system. This system pushes heated air up and across each tray, then horizontally, converging in the center for fast, even, and efficient drying without the need for tray rotation.

  2. Clean Trays and Sheets: Wash drying trays and fruit roll sheets in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are not dishwasher safe.
