- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or rice cooker base in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Operating Instructions
Cooking Rice
- Using the provided measuring cup, measure the desired amount of rice. One full cup of uncooked rice yields approximately two cups of cooked rice. The maximum capacity is 10 cups of uncooked rice (20 cups cooked).
- Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Place the rinsed rice into the removable cooking pot.
- Add the appropriate amount of water. A general guideline is 1:1 ratio for white rice (e.g., 1 cup rice to 1 cup water) and 1:2 ratio for brown rice (e.g., 1 cup brown rice to 2 cups water). Adjust water quantity based on rice type and desired consistency.
- Place the cooking pot into the rice cooker base and cover with the glass lid.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the control switch to the "COOK" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The rice cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" setting once the rice is cooked. The "WARM" indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the rice to rest on "WARM" for 5-10 minutes before serving. This allows the rice to absorb any remaining moisture and become fluffier.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet when finished.
Steaming Food
- Add approximately 1 to 2 cups of water to the removable cooking pot. Ensure the water level is below the steamer basket.
- Place the steamer basket into the cooking pot.
- Arrange food items (e.g., vegetables, fish) in the steamer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Cover with the glass lid.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the control switch to the "COOK" position.
- Steam until food reaches desired tenderness. Cooking times will vary based on food type and quantity.
- Carefully remove the lid, avoiding steam. Use oven mitts if necessary.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet when finished.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your rice cooker.
- Always unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- The removable cooking pot, glass lid, measuring cup, rice paddle, and steamer basket are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool on the nonstick cooking pot, as this can damage the surface.
- Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the appliance.
