Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Logitech MX 610 mouse requires two AA batteries for operation. These are included in your package.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Connecting the Micro-Receiver

The 2.4GHz Micro-Receiver establishes the wireless connection between your mouse and computer.

  1. Identify an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Plug the 2.4GHz Micro-Receiver into the USB port.
  3. If a PS/2 port is preferred or USB ports are limited, use the provided USB-to-PS/2 adapter to connect the receiver to a PS/2 port.

3. Software Installation (Logitech SetPoint)

For full functionality and customization of your MX 610 mouse, install the Logitech SetPoint software.

  1. Insert the provided CD with Logitech SetPoint software into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  3. Alternatively, download the latest version of Logitech SetPoint from the official Logitech website.
