Setup

The Comfort Zone CZ707 heater requires no assembly. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is positioned at a safe distance from walls, furniture, and any combustible materials (at least 3 feet / 0.9 meters).
  2. Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips, as this may create a fire hazard.
  3. Initial Use: For the first use, operate the heater on the High Heat setting for a few minutes. It is normal for the heater to emit a slight odor or smoke during this initial period as manufacturing oils burn off. This will dissipate quickly.
