Important Safety Instructions

- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.

- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- This heater includes an overheat protection sensor that automatically shuts off the unit if it gets too hot. If this occurs, unplug the heater and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes before restarting.

Setup
The Comfort Zone CZ707 heater requires no assembly. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is positioned at a safe distance from walls, furniture, and any combustible materials (at least 3 feet / 0.9 meters).
- Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips, as this may create a fire hazard.
- Initial Use: For the first use, operate the heater on the High Heat setting for a few minutes. It is normal for the heater to emit a slight odor or smoke during this initial period as manufacturing oils burn off. This will dissipate quickly.
Operating Instructions
Your CZ707 heater features two control knobs: one for heat settings and one for the thermostat.

- Power On/Heat Setting: Turn the left knob (labeled 'HEAT') to select your desired mode:
- OFF: Turns the heater off.
- FAN: Activates the fan only, providing air circulation without heat.
- LOW: Provides 750W of heat.
- HIGH: Provides 1500W of heat for maximum warmth.
- Adjusting the Thermostat: Turn the right knob (labeled 'THERMOSTAT') to set the desired room temperature. Rotate towards 'MAX' for higher temperatures and 'MIN' for lower temperatures.
- Once the room reaches the set temperature, the heater will cycle on and off to maintain it.
- To operate the heater continuously without thermostat control, set the thermostat knob to 'MAX'.
- Indicator Lights: The 'POWER' light illuminates when the heater is on. The 'CAUTION' light indicates an overheat condition.
Maintenance
