5. Installation

6. Operation
The Lutron Diva 3-Speed Fan Control is designed for intuitive operation:
- On/Off Control: The large paddle switch on the front of the control turns the ceiling fan on and off. Press the top of the paddle to turn the fan on, and the bottom to turn it off.
- Speed Adjustment: The discreet slider located on the right side of the control adjusts the fan speed. Move the slider up or down to select one of the three available quiet fan speeds (Low, Medium, High) for your desired comfort level.

7. Compatibility
This fan control is specifically designed for optimal performance with certain types of ceiling fans:
- Compatible with: Indoor ceiling paddle fans that utilize a standard 3-speed motor and are typically controlled by pull chains. This control allows you to eliminate the need for pull chains.
- Not Compatible with: Ceiling fans that have integrated remote controls, DC motors, or more than 3 speeds. Using this control with incompatible fan types may result in improper operation, damage to the fan or control, or humming noises.
