Choose one of the following connection methods:
- Composite Video (Recommended): Connect a composite video cable (yellow) from one of the DVR40's Composite Video Out ports to the corresponding video input on your TV. Connect the red and white audio cables from the DVR40's L/R Audio Out ports to the corresponding audio inputs on your TV.
- S-Video: Connect an S-Video cable from the DVR40's S-Video Out port to the S-Video input on your TV. You will still need to connect the red and white audio cables for sound.
- RF/Coax: Connect a coaxial cable from the DVR40's RF/Coax Out port to the antenna/cable input on your TV. Tune your TV to channel 3 or 4. This method provides the lowest video quality.
- Digital Optical Audio: For enhanced audio quality, connect a Toslink Digital Optical cable from the DVR40's Digital Optical Out port to a compatible audio receiver or sound system.
