1. Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before operating the oven.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use oven mitts or potholders when handling hot materials.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any non-removable parts of the oven in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazards or injury.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "OFF", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a toaster oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
  • A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
  • Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
  • Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
  • Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
  • Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, or similar items.

  2. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or protective films from the oven and its accessories.
  3. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping if necessary.

3.2 Placement

  • Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 4 inches or 10 cm) on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  • Do not operate the oven near flammable materials such as curtains or paper.

3.3 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Wash all accessories (baking racks, pan, rotisserie spit, forks, handle) in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not immerse the oven body in water.

3.4 Initial Burn-Off

It is recommended to run the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes on the highest temperature setting (450°F) in the "Bake" mode. This will help burn off any manufacturing oils and eliminate initial odors. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 General Operation

  1. Place the desired food item inside the oven, using appropriate accessories (baking rack, pan).
  2. Close the oven door securely.
  3. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

4.2 Function Selection

Turn the Function Selector Knob to choose your desired cooking mode:

  • Bake: For general baking of cakes, cookies, casseroles, etc. Uses both upper and lower heating elements.
  • Broil: For grilling, browning, or toasting the top of food. Uses the upper heating element.
  • Toast: Specifically designed for toasting bread, bagels, etc. Uses both elements.
  • Rotisserie: For slow roasting meats on a rotating spit. Uses both elements.

4.3 Temperature Control

Turn the Temperature Control Knob to set the desired cooking temperature, ranging up to 450°F (232°C). For optimal results, preheat the oven for 5-10 minutes before placing food inside, especially for baking and roasting.

4.4 Timer Operation

Turn the Timer Knob to set the cooking duration. The timer will automatically turn off the oven and sound a signal when the set time has elapsed.

  • Setting Time: Turn the knob clockwise to the desired time.
  • Stay On Function: To cook for an extended period or to manually control cooking time, turn the timer knob counter-clockwise past the "OFF" position to the "STAY ON" setting. The oven will remain on until you manually turn the timer knob to "OFF".

4.5 Convection Cooking

The convection feature uses a fan to circulate hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity. This results in faster cooking times and more uniform browning. To activate convection, slide the Convection Switch to the "ON" position. Convection can be used with Bake, Broil, and Rotisserie functions.

4.6 Rotisserie Cooking

  1. Prepare the food (e.g., a whole chicken) by trussing it securely to prevent loose parts from interfering with rotation.
  2. Insert the rotisserie spit through the center of the food and secure it with the rotisserie forks. Ensure the food is balanced on the spit.
  3. Place the drip tray/baking pan on the bottom rack to catch drippings.
  4. Using the rotisserie handle, carefully insert the spit assembly into the oven, engaging the pointed end into the rotisserie drive socket on the right side of the oven and resting the square end on the left support bracket.
  5. Set the Function Selector to "Rotisserie" and the Temperature Control to the desired setting.
  6. Set the Timer. The rotisserie will begin to rotate.
  7. When cooking is complete, turn the oven off. Using the rotisserie handle, carefully remove the hot spit assembly from the oven.
