Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your Super Famicom console to your television.

  1. Connect AV Cable: Insert one end of the AV cable into the "AV Multi Out" port on the back of the Super Famicom console. Connect the other end (typically yellow for video, red/white for audio) to the corresponding input jacks on your television.
  2. Connect AC Adapter: Plug the AC adapter into the "AC Adapter" port on the back of the console. Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Connect Controllers: Plug your Super Famicom controller(s) into the controller ports on the front of the console. Port 1 is typically for the primary player.
  4. Insert Game Cartridge: Ensure the console is OFF. Gently insert a Super Famicom game cartridge into the cartridge slot on the top of the console, label facing forward, until it clicks into place. Do not force the cartridge.
  5. Power On: Turn on your television and select the correct AV input channel. Slide the Power button on the Super Famicom console to the "ON" position. The game should now appear on your screen.
