5. Basic Rules
- Hit the ball (Kirby) to hit enemies and turn them into stars. The last remaining enemy becomes the cup, and if you get the ball in, the hole is cleared. The number of shots taken until the ball goes in the cup becomes your score.
- Each shot reduces your Vitality by 1. If you hit an enemy that cannot be turned into a star or a damage zone, your Vitality also decreases by 1. If your Vitality reaches 0, or if you fall off the hole, your Stock decreases by 1. If your Stock reaches 0 and you use up all your Vitality, it's Game Over.
- You will be prompted to choose between 'CONTINUE (Return to Course Select)' or 'GAME END (Return to Title Screen)'.
- Vitality increases by 1 when you turn enemies into stars or sink the ball. Stock increases by 1 when you get a hole-in-one (clear the hole in one shot).

Note: If you fall off the hole or run out of Vitality while possessing an ability, you will lose the ability.
Note: When you clear a course, the next course will start without any abilities.
10. Types of Spin
To add spin, move the bar or marker with the directional buttons during spin selection.
(Image Description: A screenshot showing the spin selection interface with a bar and marker.)
The further the bar moves left from the center, the stronger the left spin; the further right, the stronger the right spin. The marker's position above the center results in stronger top spin, and below the center results in stronger back spin.

14. How to End the Game
Pressing the [Home Button] ?HOME during play will interrupt the game and display the HOME Menu on the bottom screen. Touching 'End' will save your game progress and exit. This is called the VC Suspend Function. For details, please see the 'Features Usable in VC' page.
15. Features Usable in VC
This software has features usable only with VC (Virtual Console) software.
VC Suspend Function
This is a function to suspend the game and save its status. Pressing the [Home Button] ?HOME during gameplay displays the HOME Menu on the bottom screen. The game is interrupted, and its status at that moment is automatically saved. Using this function allows you to suspend the game to launch other software or turn off the system's power, and then resume from where you left off when you restart the game. Note: Once resumed, the saved game status will be lost.
VC Menu
This menu appears when you touch the bottom screen during gameplay. While the VC Menu is displayed, the game is temporarily suspended. The menu contents change depending on whether the 'Whole Backup Function' is enabled or disabled.
(Image Description: Two screenshots of the VC Menu. One labeled 'Enabled' shows options like 'Resume Game', 'Whole Save', 'Reset', 'Whole Restore', 'Settings'. The other labeled 'Disabled' shows 'Resume Game', 'Reset', 'Settings'.)
For details on the 'Whole Backup Function', please see below.
Whole Backup Function
This function allows you to back up (copy and save) game content at your preferred timing. The Whole Backup Function simultaneously backs up the game status and all save data within the game. Backup data is not erased until it is overwritten. By loading backup data, you can resume the game from the same point multiple times.
⚠️ Precautions When Using the Whole Backup Function
When loading backup data, if you have created save data within the game, that save data may be overwritten.
(Example)
- On October 24th, use the Whole Backup Function to back up the game status and in-game save data. (Image Description: A diagram showing 'Game Content', 'Game Status', 'Save Data' on 10/24, with an arrow pointing to a separate 'Whole Backup Data' box containing '10月24日 Game Status', 'Save Data'.)
- On October 28th, save the progressed content (+α) to the in-game save data. (Image Description: A diagram showing 'Game Content', 'Save Data + α' on 10/28, with an arrow pointing to a box containing '10月28日 Game Content', 'Save Data + α'.)
- In this state, load the data backed up on October 24th. (Image Description: A diagram showing 'Game Content', 'Save Data + α' on 10/28, with a left arrow pointing to a 'Whole Backup Data' box containing '10月24日 Game Status', 'Save Data'.)
- The backed-up data overwrites the in-game save data, losing the progressed content (+α), and returns to the game content from October 24th. (Image Description: A diagram showing 'Game Content', 'Game Status', 'Save Data' on 10/28, indicating the state after restoration.)
Switching Whole Backup Function On/Off
When you first launch this software and touch the bottom screen, you will be asked whether to enable the Whole Backup Function. Selecting 'Yes' enables it, and the VC Menu for the enabled state is displayed. Selecting 'No' displays the VC Menu for the disabled state. From the next launch onwards, the VC Menu selected during the first launch will be displayed.
While the VC Menu is displayed, you can switch the function on or off by pressing [R Button] + [Start Button] + [Y Button] simultaneously.

To load backup data and resume the game, touch 'Whole Restore'.
Note: The Whole Backup Function can only copy one set of data. If data already exists, it will be overwritten, so please be careful.
Note: If multiple people use the in-game save data, please be careful not to overwrite another person's save data with your backup data.

(Image Description: Screenshot of the VC Menu with 'Whole Backup' disabled options.)

Dot-by-Dot Mode
This mode displays the game with the pixel count of the Super Famicom. While the aspect ratio differs from the original, it allows for a clear, crisp display.
You can switch 'Dot-by-Dot Mode' ON or OFF by selecting 'Settings'.
Play Content Transmission (StreetPass)
Even when not playing the game, by putting the system in sleep mode, it will automatically search for wireless LAN access points and communicate. 'Play Content Transmission' allows you to send your play data to Nintendo.
Note: The play data received will be used to improve service convenience, as reference for product development, and for campaign implementation.
Using Play Content Transmission
You will be asked questions when you first play to set this up. You can switch 'Play Content Transmission' ON or OFF by selecting 'Settings'.
16. Precautions Regarding Saving
- If data is lost due to reasons such as arbitrarily turning the power ON/OFF, removing or inserting the game card or SD card during saving, incorrect operations, or dirt on the terminals, it cannot be restored. We appreciate your understanding.
- Using devices that modify save data can cause the game to become unplayable, or corrupt or erase save data, so please absolutely refrain from doing so. In the event that save data is modified using such a device, it cannot be restored to its pre-modification state, so please exercise extreme caution.
