3. Product Overview

Controls and Features:
- LCD Display: Shows the current time.
- Snooze/Light Bar: Activates the light on demand and provides a 4-minute snooze function when the alarm sounds.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The alarm clock operates on two (2) AA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Slide the cover off in the direction indicated by the arrow.
- Insert two (2) fresh AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) matches the diagrams inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
Once batteries are installed, the display will illuminate, and the clock will be ready for time setting.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting the Current Time
- Press and hold the TIME SET button until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button repeatedly to advance the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Press the MINUTE button repeatedly to advance the minute.
- Once the desired time is set, press the TIME SET button again to confirm and exit time setting mode. If no button is pressed for a few seconds, the clock will automatically exit setting mode.
5.2 Setting the Alarm Time
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button repeatedly to advance the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Press the MINUTE button repeatedly to advance the alarm minute.
- Once the desired alarm time is set, press the ALARM SET button again to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
5.3 Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
To turn the alarm on or off, use the ALARM ON/OFF Switch located on the side or back of the unit. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display. Slide the switch to the 'OFF' position to deactivate the alarm. The alarm icon will disappear.
5.4 Using the Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large Snooze/Light Bar at the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 4 minutes.
5.5 Light On Demand
To illuminate the display in low light conditions, press the large Snooze/Light Bar at the top of the clock. The display will light up for a few seconds and then turn off automatically to conserve battery power.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the clock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the display dims or the alarm function becomes unreliable, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones.
7. Troubleshooting
