1. Product Overview

The Taylor Digital Bathroom Scale is designed for accurate body weight measurement. 3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the scale from its packaging.
2. Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat surface for accurate readings. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring.
4. Initial Activation: The scale features an "instant on" function. Simply step onto the scale to activate it. It will automatically zero itself before displaying your weight.
5. Unit Conversion: If desired, locate the unit conversion switch (lb/kg) on the bottom of the scale to select your preferred unit of measurement.

4. Operation

1. Step On: Gently step onto the center of the glass platform. The scale will automatically turn on.
2. Wait for Reading: Remain still on the scale. The display will show "0.0" as it calibrates, then quickly display your weight.
3. Auto-Off: The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: The glass platform is easy to wipe clean. Use a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaner if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Replacement: If the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the AAA batteries promptly.
• Storage: Store the scale in a dry place. Its thin design allows for easy storage under furniture or in a closet.

6. Troubleshooting

• Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat, and level surface. Uneven surfaces can affect accuracy.
• Scale Not Turning On: Check the battery compartment to ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace batteries if necessary.
• Fluctuating Readings: Step off the scale, allow it to auto-off, then step back on. Ensure you remain still during measurement.
• "Lo" or Low Battery Indicator: This indicates that the batteries are low and need to be replaced.
