- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater includes an automatic shut-off feature to prevent overheating, an overheat back-up fuse, and instant tip-over protection.

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any walls, furniture, curtains, or other combustible materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake.
- Power Connection: Ensure the heater is turned to the "OFF" position. Plug the power cord directly into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

- Power On: With the heater plugged in, turn the SELECTOR dial from "OFF" to either "LO" (750 watts) or "HI" (1500 watts) for your desired heat output. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Set Thermostat: Turn the THERMOSTAT dial to the "HI" setting. Once the room reaches your desired comfort level, slowly turn the thermostat dial counter-clockwise until the heater turns off. The heater will now cycle on and off automatically to maintain this temperature.
- Power Off: To turn off the heater, rotate the SELECTOR dial to the "OFF" position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use.

- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the heater in water.
