Setup

Power Connection

Connect the AC power adapter to the unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The unit requires continuous AC power for primary operation.

Battery Backup Installation

For battery backup functionality, install two (2) AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. The battery backup system preserves time and alarm settings during a power outage, ensuring your alarm functions even without AC power. Note that the alarm will default to a buzzer sound during battery backup mode.

Setting the Time

Press and hold the TIME SET button.
While holding TIME SET, press the HOUR button to adjust the hour.
While holding TIME SET, press the MINUTE button to adjust the minute.
Release the TIME SET button to confirm the time.

Operating Instructions

Setting Alarms (Triple Alarm System)

The T309T features a triple alarm system, allowing you to set three independent alarm times. Each alarm can be configured to sound daily, on weekdays (Mon-Fri), or on weekends (Sat-Sun).

Press and hold the desired alarm button (ALARM 1, ALARM 2, or ALARM 3).
While holding the alarm button, press the HOUR button to set the alarm hour.
While holding the alarm button, press the MINUTE button to set the alarm minute.
Release the alarm button to confirm the alarm time.
To select the alarm source (Radio, Buzzer, or Nature Sound) and frequency (Daily, Weekdays, Weekends), press the alarm button repeatedly until the desired settings are displayed.
To activate or deactivate an alarm, press the corresponding alarm button once. An indicator light will show if the alarm is active.

Radio Operation (AM/FM)

The unit features a digital PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) tuner for clear, drift-free radio reception.

Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to turn on the radio.
Press the BAND button to switch between AM and FM bands.
Use the TUNE + or TUNE - buttons to manually tune to a station. Press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.
Setting Presets: The unit can store up to 18 radio stations (6 AM, 12 FM).
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press and hold one of the six numbered PRESET buttons until the preset number flashes on the display.
- Release the button. The station is now saved.
- To recall a preset, simply press the corresponding PRESET button.

Nature Sounds

The T309T offers four soothing nature sounds: Wind, Brook, Surf, and Forest Spring. These can be used as a wake-up alarm or for relaxation.

To play nature sounds, press the NATURE SOUNDS button.
Press the NATURE SOUNDS button repeatedly to cycle through the available sounds.
To turn off nature sounds, press the NATURE SOUNDS button until the display shows "OFF" or press the RADIO ON/OFF button.

Sleep Timer

The programmable sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio or nature sounds, which will automatically turn off after a set duration.

While the radio or nature sounds are playing, press the SLEEP button.
Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep durations (e.g., 90, 60, 30 minutes).
The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.

Display and Calendar

The amber back-lit display shows the time, alarm settings, and radio frequency. It also includes a 99-year calendar (2000-2099) with year/month/day display.

Press the DIMMER button to adjust the brightness of the display.
To view the date, press the DATE button.

Troubleshooting

Time/settings lost after power outage.	Backup batteries are dead or not installed.	Install two fresh AA batteries in the battery compartment.
