Setup and Battery Installation
The Lullaby Gloworm is shipped in "Demo" mode. For full functionality, follow these steps to install batteries and select an operating mode:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the toy. This compartment is secured with a fabric closure.
- Open the back closure to access the battery unit.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert three (3) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Three AA batteries are included with the product.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
- Inside the back closure, locate the mode selector switch. Select one of the three available modes for full use.
- Close the fabric closure securely.
Warning: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Dispose of used batteries properly.

Once batteries are installed and a mode is selected, operating the Lullaby Gloworm is simple:
- To activate the glowing face and lullabies, gently squeeze the Gloworm's body or press its stomach.
- The toy will play one of six soothing lullabies and its face will light up.
