Setup
Power Connection
- Unpack the GPX D504 clock radio and all accessories from its packaging.
- Connect the AC power cord to a standard wall outlet.
- For battery backup, insert a 9V battery (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. This battery will preserve time and alarm settings during a power outage.
Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME SET button. The hour digits will begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the correct hour. Pay attention to the PM indicator if applicable.
- Press the MINUTE button repeatedly to set the correct minute.
- Release the TIME SET button to confirm the time.
Operating Instructions
Radio Operation (AM/FM)
- Press the POWER button to turn on the radio.
- Press the BAND button to select either AM or FM band.
- Use the TUNING knob or buttons to tune to your desired radio station.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control.
- To turn off the radio, press the POWER button again.
Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Press the HOUR button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the MINUTE button to set the desired alarm minute.
- Release the ALARM SET button.
- To select the alarm source (radio or buzzer), press the ALARM MODE button repeatedly until the desired icon appears on the display.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE bar located on top of the unit. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
Sleep Timer
The adjustable 120-minute sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off. To activate, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 120, 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, or OFF).
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
Battery Replacement
- If the battery backup is not functioning during a power outage, replace the 9V battery in the compartment.
- Ensure correct polarity when inserting the new battery.
- Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
