Key Features:

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the player.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover open.
  3. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  5. Note: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display or when playback performance degrades.

2. Loading a CD/MP3 Disc

  1. Press the OPEN button to open the disc compartment lid.
  2. Carefully place a CD or MP3 disc onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Gently press the disc down until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the disc compartment lid firmly until it latches.

6. Anti-Skip Protection

The GPX C3960 features electronic anti-skip protection to prevent audio interruptions during movement. This provides approximately 45 seconds of protection for standard audio CDs and 120 seconds for MP3 CDs.

7. Programming Tracks

  1. With the player stopped, press the PROG button. The program indicator will flash.
  2. Use the SKIP FORWARD (►►) or SKIP BACKWARD (◄◄) buttons to select the desired track.
  3. Press PROG again to add the selected track to the program memory.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for up to 24 tracks.
  5. Press PLAY/PAUSE (►/‖‖) to start playback of the programmed sequence.
  6. To clear the program, open the disc compartment or press STOP (■) twice.
