3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Lens

  1. Remove the rear lens cap and the camera body cap.
  2. Align the mounting index mark on the lens barrel with the corresponding index mark on the camera body.
  3. Insert the lens into the camera's lens mount and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place. Ensure the lens is securely locked.

3.2 Detaching the Lens

  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. While pressing the lens release button on the camera body, turn the lens counter-clockwise until it stops.
  3. Carefully remove the lens from the camera body.
  4. Attach the rear lens cap to the lens and the body cap to the camera to protect them from dust and damage.

4. Operating the Lens

4.1 Zooming

To change the focal length, rotate the zoom ring on the lens barrel. The focal lengths (100mm, 135mm, 200mm, 300mm) are marked on the ring. Rotate towards 300mm for telephoto magnification and towards 100mm for a wider telephoto view.

This lens supports both autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF).
