4. Setup and Installation

Installation of this safety switch must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.

4.1 Mounting

1. Select a suitable indoor location for mounting, ensuring it is easily accessible and free from moisture or excessive dust.

4.2 Wiring

1. Ensure all power to the circuit is OFF at the main service panel before beginning any wiring.
2. Open the switch enclosure door.
3. Connect the incoming line wires to the designated line terminals and the outgoing load wires to the load terminals. Ensure proper polarity and secure all connections.
4. Connect the neutral wire to the neutral terminal.
5. Install the correctly rated fuses (30 Amp) into the fuse holders. Refer to the product specifications for fuse type.

5.1 Turning ON the Power

Move the operating handle upwards until it clicks into the 'ON' position. The indicator on the front of the switch will show 'ON'.

5.2 Turning OFF the Power

Move the operating handle downwards until it clicks into the 'OFF' position. The indicator on the front of the switch will show 'OFF'. This action disconnects power to the load.

5.3 Fuse Replacement

Always turn the switch to the 'OFF' position and verify power is disconnected before opening the enclosure to replace fuses. Use only fuses of the correct type and rating (30 Amp).

  • Confirm that the main power supply to the switch is active.
• Switch Handle Does Not Stay ON:
  • This may indicate an internal fault or a severe overload condition. Do not force the handle. Consult a qualified electrician.
• Overheating:
  • If the enclosure feels hot, immediately turn off the power. This could be due to loose connections, an overloaded circuit, or incorrect fuse sizing. Have a qualified electrician inspect the installation.
