Product Usage Instructions
Activation and Pairing:
To activate the Contact Sensor, press the button on the front. The LED will blink 5 times to indicate pairing mode. If it blinks 2 times, it has been paired to a home hub.
Pairing with Home Hub:
Pair the Contact Sensor with your home hub. Ensure your network has a compatible read Border Router. For more information, visit arrehome.com/borderrouter.
Battery Replacement:
When it’s time to replace the battery, turn the Contact Sensor around and remove the backplate.
Resetting the Device:
To perform a reset, push the button on the front. The greenlight will flash when the reboot is successful. Hold the button for 5 seconds to completely reset the device. Note that this will remove it from the platform and require re-pairing.
Mounting:
The backplate can be removed and mounted using screws or tape on a door/window.

Turn the contact sensor on its side to reveal the pairing code. Scan or type in the manual pairing code in the platform of your choice.
Battery replacement
