Charging Instructions

1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the Type-C Port located on the headphones.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible power source.
3. During charging, the charging indicator will remain lit. Once fully charged, the light will turn off or show a specific color (depending on the model’s feature).

Note: Ensure you charge the headphones using the provided or a compatible USB-C charger to maintain battery health and performance.

The headphones take approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge, ensuring efficient and quick recharging for continuous use

Low Battery Warning: When the battery level is low, a red light indicator will flash. This serves as a reminder to charge the headphones. It is recommended to plug them in promptly to avoid interruptions during use.

Pairing Your Headphones

1. Powering On: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator turns white for 1 second. After powering on, the headphones will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by the white LED on the right earcup flashing rapidly.
2. Positioning for Pairing: For optimal connection, ensure that your mobile device and headphones are within 3 feet (1 meter) of each other during the pairing process. Make sure the BT function on your mobile device is enabled.
3. Connecting to Your Device:
   • Open the BT settings on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) and enable BT if it’s not already active.
   • Search for “ARG-HS-2690BK” in the list of available devices.
   • Select this option to initiate pairing. Once paired successfully, you will hear the voice prompt: “BT Connected.”

Successful Connection: Upon successful connection, the LED indicator will flash slowly, glowing alternately on and off each second to confirm the connection. Adjust the headband for a perfect fit, making sure the left (L) and right (R) earcups are correctly aligned with your ears.

Note: If the headphones do not connect to any device within 10 minutes, they will automatically power off to conserve battery life. To reconnect, power the headphones back on and repeat the pairing process.

How to Operate your Headsets

• Next Song / Volume Up: Long press the volume up “+” button for 2 seconds to skip to the next track. Short press to increase volume.
• Previous Song / Volume Down: Long press the volume down “-” button for 2 seconds to change to previous track. Short press to lower volume.
• Play/Pause: Short press the Power button once to pause or play music.
• Power On/Off: Long press the Power button for 3 seconds to power on or off the headphones.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Short press the Power button two times to activate the voice assistant.
• Answer, End, or Reject Calls: Short press the Power button to answer a call; short press again to hang up. Long press the Power button to reject a call.
• Pairing mode: Short press the Power button three times to enter pairing mode
  ANC Modes: Press the button once to cycle through three distinct ANC modes:
• Ambient Sound On: Enhances external sounds, allowing you to  stay aware of your surroundings.
• Noise Cancelling On: Actively reduces background noise for an immersive listening experience.
• Noise Cancelling Off: Disables active noise control for standard audio playback.
• Audio Port: Connect the headphones to your device using a USB-C audio cable for wired playback and control. Please note that, depending on the operating system version of some smartphones, the headphone buttons and microphone functions may not work in wired mode.
• Type-C Charging Port: Use the provided USB Type-C cable to recharge the headphones. A full charge takes around 1.5 hours to complete.
• Microphone: The built-in microphone enables clear voice communication during calls and can also be used to activate voice assistants for hands-free control.

LED Indicator

• Power On: The power indicator (white light) illuminates for 1 second.
• Power Off: The power indicator (red light) briefly illuminates for 1 second before turning off.
• Pairing Mode: The power indicator (white light) flashes at 100ms intervals. Once the device powers down, the lights will turn off.
• Incoming Call: The white light flashes intermittently to signal an incoming call.
• Playback Mode: The white light flashes slowly during media playback.
• Low Battery: The BT indicator (red light) flashes intermittently every second and triggers a tone once every 20 minutes until recharged.
• Charging: While charging, the indicator remains a steady red. Once charging is complete, the red light turns off.

Multi-Point Connection
Multipoint connection allows the headset to connect to two devices simultaneously, such as a smartphone and a computer, making it easy to switch between devices without needing to manually disconnect and reconnect. Follow these steps to set up a multipoint connection:

1. On your first device, enable BT and search for “ARG-HS-2690BK” in the available BT devices list, then connect to initiate pairing.
2. Complete the pairing process with your first device (whether it’s a phone, tablet, or computer).
3. Temporarily disable BT on Device 1 to disconnect the headset.
4. Press the power button three times to re-enter pairing mode on the headphones.
5. On your second device, repeat the pairing steps until the second device is successfully connected.
6. Turn BT back on for Device 1. The headset will now connect to both Device 1 and Device 2, allowing for easy switching between the two without having to disconnect either device.

Note:
The headphones can only play audio from one device at a time. Switching between devices may result in a brief delay, depending on the compatibility of the devices. If one of the paired devices disconnects, the headphones will stay connected to the other and will automatically attempt to reconnect to the disconnected device within 10 minutes.

Factory Reset to Clear Pairing Record
When the device is powered off, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to clear the pairing record and enter the pairing state automatically. The power indicator (red and white light) will remain steady for 3 seconds and then turn off.

To perform a factory reset:

1. Ensure the headset is turned off.
2. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds.
3. After resetting, the headset will automatically enter pairing mode.

Care, Maintenance, and Safety

Cleaning & Maintenance:
To maintain your headphones, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or cleaning agents, as they may damage the
internal components. When not in use, store the headphones in a cool, dry environment. Keep them away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight for extended periods.

Hearing Protection & Volume Levels:
To safeguard your hearing, refrain from listening to music at high volumes for prolonged periods. Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when using headphones in public spaces.

Charging Safety:
Use only the supplied USB Type-C cable to charge the headphones. Avoid using incompatible or uncertified chargers, as they may lead to potential damage or pose a safety risk.

Safe Use While Driving:
For your safety, avoid wearing or using the headphones while driving or engaging in activities that require your full attention.
