APR SUS00019 DCC Suspension Controller
Notes:
- These instructions were written for a North American specification 8V RS3, but other models are similar.
- When disassembling the car, be sure to keep all fasteners so they can be reused. It is recommended that you get some kind of compartmented tray to organize the fasteners, such as a fishing tackle box or several large ice cube trays. Fasteners that are not reused for reinstallation are noted in the instructions. All directions used in this manual (right, left, front, etc.) are based on if you were sitting in the drivers seat of the car.
- These instructions assume that you have basic mechanical skills and several varieties of basic hand tools in order to install the kit. If you have any questions about the install, feel free to contact your APR representative.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
- Slide the front passenger seat as far back as possible.
- Remove the two push pin style clips from the cover under the front seat.
- Slightly lift up on the front of the cover, and then slide the whole cover forward, towards the front of the car. It may be necessary to remove the front floor mat.
- Push the plastic tabs on the right side of the suspension controller away from the controller, releasing it from the mounting bracket.
- Pull on the tab on the electrical connector to the suspension con-troller, releasing the connector and remove the controller from the car.
- Connect the electrical connector on the APR suspension controller, and then place the controller into the mounting bracket on the floor. Make sure the two plastic tabs clip in place, securing the suspension controller.
- Slide the cover back over the electrical connector, ensuring the tabs on the back side of the front of the cover slide back in place on the mounting bracket. Replace the front floor mat if removed.
- Reinstall the two push pin con-nectors holding the cover back to the floor.
